Tablets
Kinedryl is used without a doctor's recommendation to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting while travelling (car, train, airplane, ship). Based on doctor´s recommendations the product may also be used in nausea and vertigo of various etiology (in Menier´s disease). It is also used to treat the feeling of sickness caused by vestibular system disorders. Each Kinedryl tablet contains moxastine teoclate 25 mg and anhydrous caffeine 30 mg.
Dosage when treating nausea while travelling
Adults 1 tablet 60 minutes before starting the travel. In extended travel it is sufficient to use ½ – 1 tablet every 2 – 3 hours. In case of acutely developed motion sickness (kinetosis), 2 tablets are to be used at once, in case of insufficient effect add ½ – 1 tablet in a 30-minute interval up to the total dose of 4 tablets. In case of sudden vomiting it is more convenient not to use the initial dose of 2 tablets at once but divided in 4 parts within several minutes.
Children below 15 years of age Children from 2 to 6 years of age should use ¼ of tablet, children aged 6 – 15 years ¼ - ½ tablet. The first dose is to be used 60 minutes before starting the travel, in long-term travel it can be repeated twice in 2 – 3 hour intervals.
Children under 2 years of age: Kinedryl should not be used by children under 2 years of age.
Meniér´s disease and other vestibular disorders: Adult recumbent patients use 2 – 4 tablets 2 – 3 times a day. Other patients may use up to 8 tablets a day.
The tablet must be swallowed along with plenty of fluids.
Warning: Kinedryl must not be used in pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Kinedryl may have an effect on the capability to drive and to operate machinery and activities requiring fast judgment or working at heights.
Package: One package contains 10 tablets.
Storage: Keep in the original container to protect against the light and moisture at 25°C.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
