History
The Noventis Company was established on May 19th, 2004 as a successor company to Intercaps Zlín. The company, with its headquarters in Zlín, was founded in 1991 with the participation of Accucaps Canada, Pro. Med Andorra and physical entities, whose intent was to make hard gelatine capsules, food supplements and pharmaceuticals in the form of soft gelatine caps. During 1992, the company merged with Slovakofarma JSC Hlohovec. They became, in 1998, 100% owners of the company. That year marked the start of the pharmaceutical contractual production of Vitamin E Caps and Vitamin D Caps in the company’s production facilities.
In 2003, Slovakofarma JSC Hlohovec and Léčiva, JSC Prague were merged into the pharmaceutical group Zentiva. SLOVAKOFARMA JSC as the sole partner of INTERCAPS Zlín transfered its share in the amount of 100% to a new owner – a physical entity.
In 2004, there was an important acquisition of marketing rights to the original pharmaceuticals of the Slovakofarma JSC – Kindryl tbl., Febichol cps, Orenzym drg. and Oxyphillin tbl. Thus, the Noventis company entered the pharmaceutical marketplace.
